RLDP Application To All Staff
The Resilient Leaders Development Programme (RLDP) is ideal
for headteachers and leaders of Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), but its vast
potential is not restricted by position or status. In a school setting,
every member of staff is a leader of children and/or young people. All would
benefit from reflecting on RLE's two core questions:
• Who am I?
What di I do?
The RLDP addresses a wide
range of professional needs... with comprehensive breadth and depth.

Organisational Analytics
An Executive Head was immediately drawn to the programme's analytics. After arranging for
Dr Warren to collate her staff's data, she was delighted to see the results of
her organisation's investment recorded and presented so clearly and concisely.
She now had the evidence she needed. -

Clarity of Direction
After taking over a struggling school, a Headteacher was
particularly interested to find out if his primary focus was recognised by those he worked with. The Clarity of Direction Element gave him the answers he was looking for.
-
Challenge Engine
After a recent promotion, a senior leader questioned whether he was making a difference. He invited colleagues he worked alongside and line-managed to complete RLDP surveys, based on their experience of him in role. The results of their anonymous feedback revealed that his efforts were not always apparent to others. The system's Challenge Engine enabled him to develop this aspect of his leadership.

Precise Goal
A middle leader*, in this case a Head of Department, gained enormously from the guidance he received and the time he spent creating and fine-tuning a precise goal. His goal then acted as his North Star as he worked through every area of the programme.

360 Feedback
A teacher had been supported by a number of teaching
assistants over the past few years. She invited four of them to give their perspective of her relative strengths as a classroom leader. The RLDP averaged their responses and ensured individual submissions remained anonymous. The teacher was fascinated to reflect on the inferences within the 360 feedback.

Strength Engine
Ms Morgan was mentoring a trainee teacher on their second placement, which she viewed as a privilege. Just before she was due to attend a quality assurance meeting with the trainee's first supervisor, the trainee confided that she had felt bullied by her previous mentor. Ms Morgan reflected that this might account for some of the harsh judgements contained in the report she had received, which were incongruent with her observations of the mentee.

Learning Log
An experienced teaching assistant (TA), who was preparing to train as a teacher, was determined to use the grounding he had gained from the years he had spent in schools. The programme's Challenge Engine invited him to connect his experiences and document his progress over time by reflecting deeply on his practice. He found the RLDP's Learning Log invaluable.
-
Power Statements
A lead teacher for CPD* accessed Dr Warren's complementary guide, 'Making the most of the RLDP.' He found the tab he was looking for and began watching the video clip. During the RLDP's data analysis review, he saw there were a number of correlated statements centred around a Power Statement.
The power statements' around maintaining momentum and inspiring colleagues were perfect for his latest project. -

Urgency Spectrum
A staff member had taken on a newly created role. She was Lead Teacher for Staff Well-being and Mental Health. She was very much taken with the Urgency Spectrum and recognised its rich potential to structure a common language when presenting and coaching.
When she opened her profile, she was especially interested by the Awareness Element and curious to examine how the three key facets could equip her to carry out her role effectively.
-
Preparing for Promotion
After being alerted to an attractive job opportunity, a
teacher was reluctant to apply. She wondered whether she was qualified to go for a higher position at this stage of her career - although she was very interested in the position. A supportive colleague suggested she used the RLDP to Prepare for Promotion. She felt the programme was heaven-sent. It provided her with rich, validated data that equipped her to complete her application (bringing her strengths to the fore) and to respond with insight and depth during her interview.

These worked examples apply to a school setting, however,
the Resilient Leaders Development Programme (RLDP) is applicable throughout the
education sector and beyond:
To ensure you don't get lost, Dr Warren has constructed an
additional complimentary guide to help you get
the most out of your RLDP. A comprehensive worked example is
organised into a series of succinct video clips to give you a sense of
confidence and competence as you explore.
Whether you arrange a coaching package
with Dr Warren or select to use the Programme's Virtual Coach to work through independently, a code to access this quality resource will be made available to you.
